"Peace is that tranquility of the heart, which derives from the all prevailing consciousness, that our times are in God's hands"

How can Christians and non-Christian believers alike, learn to more effectively manage and handle stress and receive healing from its effects? We realize there are many stress-reduction self-help programs available out there. However, there is one particular approach to stress reduction, that we have seen have the greatest positive impact on/with the people we've worked with.  It's called: MBSR

What Is MBSR?

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an approach that incorporates mindfulness to assist people struggling with life's difficulties, demands, stresses and physical or mental challenges.

MBSR courses are designed to help you

  • Respond rather than react to stress

  • Change habitual reactivity patterns

  • Cultivate self-awareness

  • Engage with life in the present moment and live more fully

  • Learn the most established secular mindfulness program

Most MBSR programs are fee based, but the last we checked, there were two free programs available:

 Tine Steiss's

Palouse Mindfulness

These programs work, for those who make the time and conscious effort to learn from them.
